The media could not be loaded. As a 30 year old wife and mother of two, I knew I needed to scooter in style for my 4 weeks of non weight baring after foot surgery. This basket was not my first option, due to its lack of glitter, streamers, horn, and bells...however, it was a great one and worked like a charm. I was able to hold water bottles, children's snacks, phones, condiments while cooking, clipped my keys on this bad boy too.

I began to wonder, how will I live without this basket once I regain mobility? And then my husband reminded me I also own a purse, and in all honesty, I prefer the basket life.

This basket also saved my life. No one tells you that the breaks on a knee scooter really don't work if it's raining cats and dogs. So one day, I thought I would be slick (no pun intended) and scooter faster than the speed of light, across a parking lot to my handicappable space outside of a store. There I was, gliding along the asphalt nonproblem, and I hit the breaks and COMTINUED TO ROLL! Right into a curb, tipping the scooter 🛴 forward. My cat like reflexes were not working well, I couldn't use my bum leg to break my fall, and I just fell forward, like the sophisticated lady I am, I continued to hold onto the only thing I had bracing me, the handle bars. If it wasn't for this here basket, my knuckles and hands would have been all scratched up, but this durable little guy broke that fall and came out with just a scratch, and shielded this $300 rental scooter from any damage!

I bought the basket to go with my knee scooter but never actually used it. I put the handle up and down when driving to work so I thought it would be inconvenient. I ended up using a back pack that I could put my lunch and phones in and hook over the handle bar. I don't drink tap water so I also have to carry my own drinks to work. It is not convenient if you want to fold your scooter up and take on a plane ( which I did about every two to three weeks that I have been using my scooter). I think it would be great if you don't have to fold your scooter up frequently and don't have a lot of things you need to carry.

We bought this basket to put on a GoGo Scooter not knowing if the clamp would fit the steering post of the scooter. Turned out this clamp fits the post perfectly. The post is 30mm. However, the clamp comes with rubber strips taped into the curve of the clamp on both halves. The tape used does not hold the clamp in place but rather allows the clamp to slide off the rubber because the gum actually becomes a lubricant rather than an adhesive on a warm day. I put the clamp in place and then tried several times to press the basket onto the hooks on the clamp and each time the clamp slid down the post leaving the rubber strips in place. I removed the rubber strips and just used a clean strip of rubber that I had and wrapped an extra layer to make it extra tight. After that modification the clamp held solid and worked great.
The other issue was I had to place a flat screwdriver behind each hook and pry out a little to get the basket to slip behind the hook as it is supposed to. It wasn't hard but had to be done for it to work at all.
Once mounted, the basket worked great and looked nice. The knee walker label across the front peeled right off and left a blank panel so it looks fine on the scooter. The basket was just a little springy as the metal can flex where it hangs on the hooks so I moved the original basket mounting bracket that came on the scooter down the post to support the bottom of the basket.
We are very happy with the quality and style. The only real complaint is the tape used to hold the rubber strips in place.

I really like that this basket does not have a handle to get in my way. The reason that I gave it a 4 instead of a 5-star is because it is somewhat difficult to put on my cart. I'm not sure if that is an issue with the cart or an issue with the basket but I often have to take the basket off to travel because my car is so small. But the basket is great! Please do not think that you won't need one when you are scooting around on your knee scooter. Please buy a basket it is a lifesaver. I can place my phone in there I can tuck my computer in there and everything stays safe as I glide around my house. The basket is well made, sturdy, super functional.

This steers well and is very sturdy.
