I'm sure it's great for mosquito repellent but I bought it for my cats. I put it in an essential oil diffuser and it did nothing but stink my house so bad it made me nauseous. I'm sure it's different for every cat, but all four of mine didn't seem to notice it at all.
It really is catnip oil, not fake

My cats that like catnip seem to enjoy this, but they definitely much more prefer dried catnip which can roll in. It definitely smells like the real plant (which I grow) so if you want real catnip oil than this is the oil to buy.

I purchased this for a bug dope recipe but my cat goes insane for it. It is the real deal. There are lots of fakes in the catnip market so you get what you pay for.

I sprinkles this directly on my cats' toys. Might be too strong, I'd recommend diluting slighrly.
