Bought these for my friends and I. Brings out the children in us. We hit pretty hard and I'm actually surprised they haven't broken yet. Hurts enough that it gives you the incentive to not get hit but nothing too serious. We also hit pretty hard though. I had these when I was a kid and it was fun then and fun now.

They're ok. Not appropriate for kids. Too hard. Hilt is a cheap insignificant piece of foam. You're better off going and buying a foam pool noodle and a wooden dowel rod that fit snugly inside of it. That would be better. Way overpriced for what it is and no returns excepted. Don't buy.

These were perfect for my 10 year old daughters, and they loved them. Not indestructible but adequate for the purpose. I did not buy them for myself. They invited me to play so I couldn't refuse. They are for the kids.

I received them today. They arrived in a matter of days, very quickly.

I got these for the ladies in my dorm to beat each other with, and they are awesome! They packed enough of a punch that you'd really prefer not to get hit, but it was enough to add to the sport of it rather than make it not fun. They felt a little heavy at first compared to the fencing swords I am used to fighting with, but they served their sparring purposes, and no lamps got broken.
