My dad bought this when his old clipper wore out. We decided to try it on my double-coated Doodle pup to save money. It worked! So we got her a separate clipper. We have not quite finished snipping her legs, but the rest looks really good. One great thing: The sound it makes is not very loud for a clipper, so if we give my dog peanut butter while we do it, she is fine. That would make it good for a small child. It works great, gets warm slowely, and is really easy to use!

After watching so many youtube videos on how to cut a toddler's hair, I finally decided to buy this clipper and I love it! Very easy to use and such a good quality for the price I paid. I was scared to use it the first time of course. I was worried that I might hurt my son, but it was very safe and I got used to it right away. My son's hair turned out great. No more bowl cuts and no more overpriced hair stylist.

I think that these are good clippers at a good price but one of the razors was not created evenly. Photos attached. There's an incline going from left to right and it's independent of the second blade. I'm going to return and try again. Any one else have this problem?

Just received this today, and my review will echo a lot of previous reviews, both good, and unfortunately bad.
I was impressed with how sturdy all of the attachments felt, and equally impressed with the solid feel of the unit itself.
It was used for a quick trim, and did cut through the hair with ease.
On this front, I was quite pleased.

My only complaint and -1 star is due to the fact that I, like others, had a damaged attachment right out of the bag, of course being the much needed "1/2" piece. As seen in the photos, one "tooth" was bent right out of the bag it came in, and I'm not sure if it's evident in the picture, but it is BARELY hanging on. Have others had good success in getting this piece replaced?

Other than that, so far I'm impressed with the product.

I spent more money on the Wahl Elite Pro Haircut Kit than any other in my life. I am over 60, and I use it primarily to trim my beard once or twice a week. I didn't use it the first month or so as my Conair was still working well but did not have enough "blades" to change to the specific depth that I wanted so I thought one more clipper and I would be done with buying clippers. I have a neat full beard, and soft hair. The Conair has been with me so long the cord was breaking off as well. Yet if it had the parts I could have kept using it. Well now the Wahl. I got it out of the package, great box set, lots of "blades" and lots of choices, so I had to experiment a bit, and it worked like a charm for about a month. Then all of a sudden it started to sound like a over the tractor trailer using an air brake and wouldn't stop. I adjusted it as instructed, same as my other clipper, no luck. I finally finished what I started, just a few more strokes, and when my ears stopped ringing the next day, I tried to take a good look at it to see if cleaning and oiling it would help. No. Nothing will help, and all I could think of was my money in a birds mouth flying away squawking like a good laugh as I feel like I just got taken. I wouldn't buy another, wouldn't recommend this clipper to anyone, even someone I don't like. If you decide to buy it, get the extra warranty, I wish I would have. BUT WAIT! LOOK AT THIS! Out of the blue, I got an email from Wahl informing me that they were so sorry I had problems, and they were ready, willing, and able to help; Not in a month, or a week, but in a couple of days if I would allow it. Can you imagine? A company that watches their feedback, and responds to it? It was wonderful. Within a couple of days, I not only got a new clipper I got an entire set! It works just like wonderfully. Please give Wahl your business? They are one American Company that deserve it, in fact they earned our Trust!!
