I would like to voice my opinion as a long time user of this product. I have been using this type of product off and on for at least five years. I first started using it when I had shoulder surgery and couldn't reach properly for my hygienic needs. Then three years ago I had back surgery and again couldn't reach very well after spinal fusion. I have found that if you wrap the handle section with silicone tape it makes it much sturdier and lasts longer. I have found that if you use the front edge of the toilet seat for leverage it really helps. I then use hygiene wipes for final clean up. Yes it may take a little practice but I would recommend this item to anyone that has a flexibility or reach issue.
