This is a nice little kit for those wanting to test out if they want to deal with the up keep of acrylic nails or if they want to start teaching themselves with bare minimum so they can become professional. I do wish a file and a buffer or dehydrator came with the kit, but those were easily picked up at a local beauty supply store for pretty inexpensive.
The clear and pink powders were nice to work with but the white seemed to become gummy when applying to nail. The liquid made for quick dry time without being too fast so you had time to shape the wet powder. The brush is very small for application so it is recommended to purchase an additional larger brush. As always, you get what you pay for.
In short: Great for learning at home on yourself, but definitely would need to upgrade materials for continuing use or growing and perfecting skills.

I ordered the 24 in 1 Combo Set. I love it so far! I've done one set of nails (my first with this type of hard gel!) and it was much easier than I expected. This set is DEFINITELY worth the price and I'd buy it again. I can't wait to do my nails again and experiment with the different colors of gel. My only complaint is that when I received my package, the top coat was slightly open so a lot of things were sticky. It wasn't a huge problem since almost everything was wrapped individually, but it was annoying to lose some of the top coat. Overall, a great product!
Update: I removed one star because the pink gel does NOT cure. The clear works great, so I know I'm doing that correctly, but the pink won't cure :-( I debated about even removing one star because I still think this set is worth it for the price, but the pink not curing plus the open top coat = one star down.
Update 2: The white gel does not cure either :-( I removed a second star because the whole point of this kit are the gels. The other pieces you get in this set are great, so I still think it's worth buying if this is your first venture in to the hard gel. I've contacted the seller about neither the pink nor the white hardening and asked for replacements in the form of the clear gel, so I fully intend on adding stars back to my review if this happens.

I like this set to practice with. If you're a newbie like me this set is good to start with. On the acrylic jars very little product as well the acrylic liquid. The blocks are ok i guess I got a #2 brush it seems ok to use. The finger separaters are not so good at all cheap material. I like the oil pen. The small jar, forms and the gems are great. I do recommend this set like I said to practice with.
Did the Job! Just a few other Steps!

Better than I expected for the price! Since I finally took a chance (after over 20 years) and decided to skip expensive salons (monthly bill). I started doing my own acrylic nails a little over a month ago. And I am elated that I did! I do my acrylic nails and my a few others. I'll attach a picture with a cute glove that I purchased on amazon for a birthday gift =) I also did Nail-Art with diamond rhinestones (used super glue).
IF your nails are lifting, it's probably because you've skipped some steps listed below:
MUST DO:
1. File your natural nail to make it feel rough. I use my "Nail Drill Machine," but you can use a coarse nail file
2. Either push back cuticles OR cut them (I cut them with a cuticle file) Reason why, to reduce natural oils from making nails lift.
3. Apply Primer on your natural nail
MUST HAVE: You NEED a Primer. This will make the acrylic stick longer. Your nails won't fall off if you use a Primer.
4. I use Super-Glue to apply the tips. DIP the brush in the monomer, then place the Brush on the side on the powder for 4 seconds. This will make a small formed circle of acrylic.
5. When applying the acrylic to your nail, try to have a Thin-Layer' near the cuticle (but try not to touch the cuticle) Thicker acrylic towards the middle and tip of the nail (See my picture)
6. Reapply acrylic and much as desired. If you form the acrylic well enough, you may not have to file as much to make it smooth.
7. To Shape Nails:Use a Emery Board ( purchase a strong rough one) and use a Nail-File Buffer ( works great to sand and buff nails smooth). I also use a Nail-Drill to shape and sand nails. But you can shape and sand your nails without a Nail-Drill.
8. After you polish your nails, ALWAYS apply 2-top coats (I am personally not a fan of UV/Led dryers).
You can purchase an either one or two fan Nail-Dryer. I buy fast-drying clear top coat nail polish and gel polish that doesn't require the UV/led dryer. .
All of these steps listed above you would have to do with MOST acrylic powders brands. PINK, CLEAR, AND WHITE came with this package (Again AWESOME deal for the price). I've used all three. Even used the white powder to make my entire nail white and applied Nail-Art. The Pink-powder is good for a natural look. Clear-powder is good for any style.
-----Full-Set lasted before Needing a Fill: over two weeks. I decided twice to fill them 1.5 week. But it could have lasted longer before needing a fill.
Over All, I will continue to purchase this product. This acrylic set is just the same as any other full-set or fill that I have gotten at a nail salon. You just have to do the same steps as they do professionally, as I listed above.
Using a Primer and allowing the acrylic to FULLY dry, make a world of difference! Good Luck =+)
