Replacement Pyrex Measuring Cup

My husband dropped and broke our previous Pyrex 2 Cup Measuring Cup, so I needed a replacement. It's a measuring cup, and it's great!
I think I prefer the red text, but the blue gets the job done too, and we use it on a daily basis. It's accurate and great for wet, dry, or anything in between ingredients!

I got this because I thought it would be a little different than the one I broke and was replacing. However the girlfriend took one look at it and said "I wish it was red, the blue is hard to see."
She's right. It's harder to see. There's a reason they switched to red. It's okay, we're still using it, and we don't have a dishwasher so I doubt we'll ever have problems with the measurements coming off. But this is a bad design, so don't be mad that it's out of stock, just go buy the regular red version.

This Pyrex cup replaces one that we had for probably 25 years, which didn't survive a recent fall from the shelf to the granite countertop. There's not much to say about these cups - they've been making them for a long time, and they're great. This is an anniversary edition with special marks on it, and comes in several colors.

I love Pyrex products! Very impressed with the research done in case it breaks. I had one of these on a burner, low setting, to warm it up, poured hot water into it and it shattered. Stupid mistake. But when it shattered, it shattered in big chunks! Would have been terrible if it shattered into small shards. Glass is the only material that will not leach anything into your foods.
numbers on side are too tiny and hard to see

This is a really sturdy pyrex cup, thick glass. But, my 2 star rating is because i do not like the tiny numbers on the sides of the cup. They are hard to see and i measured too much into a brownie recipe recently, cause the '1/3' is super tiny font next to bigger numbers and lines that by contrast make it so hard to read. It isn't my go-to measuring cup. Sure, if you just need easy 1 or 2 cup amounts, this will be fine, but once I need a fine-tuned measurement, I have to use the look-down-from-the-top type of measuring cup (either from Oxo or Pyrex)
