I replaced an incandescent light fixture in our shower with a new 6 inch LED fixture. Unfortunately, the LED was somewhat smaller, resulting in a hole in the marble ceiling. I bought these trim rings to cover the hole. They look nice and do that job well.
Exactly what i wanted to cover that extra space.

We have some older cam lights that have holes larger than standard, so when I bought standard replacement bulbs there was a huge gap around several of the lights. Instead of buying a special light that would've probably cost significantly more, I bought these and they covered that gap perfectly. I went to home depot hoping they would have something like this, but they had nothing to solve my issue. Im not sure why they don't carry these, but 2 day shipping is perfectly fine with me. I highly recommend this product

The oversized trim rings work fine, and they saved me from needing to repair my ceiling. But my hope was that the oversized trim rings would replace the stock trim rings. They do not replace the stock trim rings because the inner diameter is too large. I ended up fitting them between the ceiling and the stock trim rings, a solution that looks ugly and kludgy. My hope is that nobody will look very closely at my ceiling.

Used these to cover up some beat up drywall beyond the edge of the LED light trim. Worked nicely and now I don't have to fix drywall problems. The color is a tad off. It has almost a bluish hue to it that doesn't match the LED lights I have. Close enough though, and it isn't like anyone will be staring up at it. Glad I got the "extra wide" rings, as I needed the slightly wider diameter.

We needed these because our contractor drilled holes too big around the 6" cans for our recessed ceiling lights. Luckily my husband found these on amazon, and when he measured, we chose this size. They came within 2 days even over the weekend. It worked well! Now our contractor and electrician know about these.
