Lid Doesn't Fit Box.....

The lid of the box was positioned so far to one side that it 'overhung' the box on one side and was 'inside' the box on the other side. I cannot understand how the assembler of this box would not notice this. I bought this as a gift for my grand daughter, but there was no way that I could give her something that was so poorly assembled.
