I used this to coat the top of a wine cabinet that had walnut burl veneer for the surface. It turned out smooth as glass and really set off the burl.
Wonderful product!

This stuff is great! I used it to coat a small table made from a live edge piece of wood, and it looks fabulous. crystal clear and very smooth. It does take a while to set, but self levels very well. Use a disposable brush, but not a chip brush, polyester bristles without feathering at the tips for best results. The feathered tips or use of a foam brush will introduce more bubbles on the surface.

Used this on a coffe table I built. Make sure you do a good seal coat first that helps keep the bubbles down on the flood coat. I use a heat gun instead of tourch in the house to take care of the bubbles. I actually needed more epoxy then I ordered but the top turned out great looks like glass and is very clear.
