BUYER BEWARE!! Not for food use & Horrible packaging

I rarely write negative reviews, but seeing that this product currently has a 4 star rating, I felt it necessary. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The parchment itself is a perfect size for standard baking sheets, but that is where the positives end. My biggest complaint - these are in no way, not even remotely, sanitary. It looks like these sheets have been stored on a shelf in some warehouse, then when an order is placed, a stack is grabbed and wrapped it in whatever material they have close by that might resemble a plastic bag. In my case, this happened to be a huge sheet of plastic that was dirty, torn and had obviously been previously used to package something else entirely. Then it was wrapped around and around and taped up. Then we have the sheets themselves. They were all stacked haphazardly, with some sheets bending around the rest, some folded and creased, and others dirty from wherever they were stored - and this is throughout the stack, not just the outer sheets. I might be able to use these to protect a work surface if I was painting something, but there is no way in good conscience that I could bake with these. I've personally seen plenty of warehouses and know from experience that anything that will touch food without first being washed needs to be sealed in its own packaging for a really good reason. Not only are warehouses dirty by nature of the boxes and things coming in and out, but there is a very good chance of some creature with more than two legs (or more than four) running over products. How this company thought this was an acceptable way to ship this item, let alone label it for food use, is beyond me. Again, if you're planning to use this to protect a work surface for non-food use, then you've found a good product. Otherwise, turn around and go find something else!!
Versatile, Convenient and Economical

If you have not discovered the joy of parchment paper, now is the time to try it. In general, parchment paper helps promote even cooking and reduces hot spots on your baking sheet. When baking cookies, parchment paper gives the dough something to grip on to, so it does not to spread too much, resulting in a softer cookie. I use it to line my baking pan before making brownies and bar cookies. Once cooled, you just lift the entire batch onto your cutting board and then cut into pretty, uniform pieces. It is also great when roasting meats and vegetables in the oven because it makes clean up so much easier. Just lift out the parchment with the burned on bits and throw it away. Of course, the pan still has to be washed but there is a lot less scrubbing involved. I use it for making packets for steaming fish and vegetables and it not only helps the food cook evenly, it makes a pretty presentation at the table. It is great for every day cooking too, like baking a frozen pizza or warming leftovers in the oven "“ no more soggy fries.
These pre-cut sheets are just the right size for the standard ½ sheet pan that most of us use at home. Because they come flat, they are so much easier than using a roll of parchment which has to be measured each time and tends to curl when placed on a baking sheet. These sheets are slightly thinner than roll parchment which, in my opinion, makes them easier to use. They are fantastic value too "“ best price that I have found. This is my #1 go to product and is used every day.

Hint: Maybe they will come in a zip top bag someday but for now, carefully cut the plastic bag they arrive in so that you can use it to store the sheets in the cabinet with your baking sheets.

In summary, these sheets are versatile, convenient and economical. What's not to love?
Great sheets - slightly larger than others

Purchased January 2018. 300 Premium Half Pan Liners $14.99
I love the size and will buy these again at $15 or less. Would have been 5 stars if they were packaged better. Other reviews indicate that the packaging varies.
-- Size: 12 3/16" x 16 5/16" (just under 12 1/4" by just over 16 1/4") They cover half sheet pans better than typical 12x16 pre-cut parchment sheets, and typical 12" wide rolls of parchment paper.
-- Packaging: Rolled in thirds, inside a plastic bag, inside a cardboard box. The innermost sheets have slight creases in them. A few sheets have slightly tattered edges. I discarded 5 tattered sheets and was able to use the ones with slight creases.
-- Quality: Same as any other parchment paper.

I usually buy Wilton but wanted pre-cut sizes as I thought that would be easier for cookie sheets. The parchment paper arrived in a plastic envelope with no storage box or way to dispense the sheets. They do not hold up to high temperature, they burned black and smoked at 450F
Good Sheets.....Poor Packaging.

I use these "Premium Quilon Parchment Paper Baking Sheets" all the time. The last 2 nights I used them on my half-sheet when making roasted potatoes. I used them last week when making cookies. In fact, I don't even like baking without using parchment sheets because they prevent the cookies from browning too much and it makes clean-up all the easier. The only drawback to this purchase is that I was disappointed that these parchment sheets basically just arrive rolled up in a piece of open flimsy plastic. There is no type of a dispenser at all. And there are 200 of them just rolled up loosely, so whenever you have to just get one out, it's definitely not easy to do. Plus, they're slippery in the flimsy plastic and they want to slide out of the open bag. I hate that when I pull one out, it inevitably gets crimped somewhere......which kind of defeats the purpose of my ordering these as already pre-cut to fit my half-sheet baking pans. That's incredible frustrating.....you need them to lie flat on your baking sheets, not have a fold in the middle or have one of the corners crumpled up. I guess I just assumed that they would either be flat in some sort of a box or that they would be rolled up in a dispenser sort of like an aluminum foil box or something. I won't be ordering this particular brand again for that reason.
(I'm not a professional chef, so this may be the standard way that parchment sheets come packaged, so I don't mean to leave a negative review if this is the norm.)
