Bulbs work mechanically and electrically as published, replacing lamps several times their cost when sold individually.
Measuring their lifetime will require hours of service into a distant time, no premature failures is all I can attest.

I only needed one, but what happens when another one burns out? Eh, the price was right, so I have enough now to last me for a really long time. I have two fixtures that require this special bulb, and only one has failed in 8 years. Still, none of the major home improvement centers (Lowes, Home Depot, Menards) carried this product. Low voltage seems to be the problem. So glad to see these on Amazon, saved me the trouble of trying to replace the two great looking and functional fixtures in our kitchen just because of a burned out light bulb!

So far, these worked great, and you cannot beat the price. Try buying them at the big box home centers, and you will pay through the nose. That said, I've only had them in for a month, so how long they last is still to be learned. However, at the price, replacing them more frequently will not be an issue if I need to.
