So I order this as I have a few different events coming up this fall (a couple bridal showers, a baby shower and some weddings). I'm currently 5'7" and around 210lbs. I have mom tummy after two 9lb+ babies. I've been dropping the weight but I'm still a little shapeless. I've also accept the muffin top is here to stay. I want to wear some more form fitting dresses, and also looking for some waist training so decided to take the plunge and purchase this. After reading many reviews I decided to order true to size, especially after one of the reviewers felt that most people weren't taking this style of shape wear seriously. I love the structure and while I had difficulty getting it over my thighs I thought it would be good. Unfortunately once it was over my torso there was no way I was getting the hooks done. I am very boxing still and my hips are a little larger. I even had the husband try to help and get the hooks done. There was no way it was happening. I'm going to return the xlarge and get the 3xl. I think with all the extra I have in my stomach area I need a little more room. If you are someone who still has some shape, or isn't dealing with the muffin top situation I think this will fit more true to size. My only concern is I don't want the legs to be to big with the larger size. the legs on the xl fit well, but we will see. I will update this once I receive the 3xl.

EDIT: I have received my 3XL and I'm very happy. I am going to leave it at 4 stars only because I'm getting a lot of front wedge with this. At 5'7" most of my height is in my torso and I think that is what is causing this. I'm also having issues with the straps digging into my shoulders. I though about taking the straps off but I'm concerned that it will just roll down. Not because this is poorly made, just that I have comeback rolls that may push it down. I am trying to put it on for some length of time every day to every other day to "break it in", and it is getting easier. The leg openings are a little loose, but when I sit they are very comfortable. Over all I am happy with this. It's very structured and gives my stomach a smoother appearance.

So I'm going to be as honest and detailed as possible. I am 5'6 192 athletic build 36f-32-43. I broke toes and gained some weight sitting around. This faja is AMAZING!! I previously purchased an expensive Leonisa body shaper in an XL the material was thin and the straps wore very quickly the crouch opening is short about 3.5in. I purchased this faja in a size XL. The reviews on here are EXTREMELY misleading and untrue! In the pics you can see that this faja curves in the waist and has a longer torso whereas the black one is wide no shape and shorter. This faja is true to size and feels good on. I did have to adjust the straps to the longest setting. The crotch hole in the faja is 6 inches and plenty of room to use the rest room without mess. Where the hooks are in the front there is a flap under so that it doesn't dig into your stomach. The dress I have on I'm the picture is a very spring and clingy jersey material. I used it to give u the best picture of my shape in clothing and how the faja looks under it. As u can see there is a difference in my shape and the faja is not visible at all!!! Please trust me when I say get your true size don't size up. I trusted a similar review and the fact that it ships prime. Worst case scenario you send it back and get another. This faja didn't do much for my butt in the dress but despite the pics it does round out and lift my butt in pants and jeans. I love this faja and you can't beat the price. Most are selling for 100$ and over. I really hope this review and my pics help!

Okay so this is for my thick size ladies who aren't in the plus but isn't small enough for the juniors!!! I wear a 14/16 and I wear a 40DDD bra. I bought a 2XL and it fit perfect. A little tight at first which is expected! And YES I DID BREAK A SWEAT PUTTING THIS ON! Overall a good purchase. Hope this helps

Really good body shaper! I bought it for my upcoming tummy tuck, measured how it said and was pretty surprised I needed a large but it fits perfectly. There is a opening to pee but I definitely am thinking about getting a "she pee" lol. It's very comfortable and I can tell I'll be using it for years to come under dresses

Was very hard to get into for the 1st time but it's the best body shaper I've tried so far
