The Magic Sleeping Pillow!

I bought this for my daughter because her breastfeeding baby loved to sleep on her chest all night. Not only was my daughter not getting the deep sleep she needed but it was not completely safe for her newborn. This pillow is actually the most valuable purchase we have made so far! The pillow sort of "hugs" the baby and it is so light and portable that she can take it any place in the house. My granddaughter was about 5 weeks old when we bought this and it took only a try or two to get her completely acclimated. She will sleep as long as 5 hours, snug and comfortable. The pillow is designed so the child can not turn over in it. At night, my daughter has been placing the pillow in the bassinet by her bed, which works perfectly and she and her husband plan on taking it with them when they travel. The perfect on-the-go portable "crib".

Expensive, yes it is, but this thing is amazing. I've never gotten so much sleep with a newborn. We cosleep with it and I feel so much safer. I've also used it in our pack n play. It's on the small side but I know we'll get at least 3 months or so out of it.

My son who does not sleep will tolerate this. We bought everything known to man to help him sleep and while this was not a magic sleep all night bullet. It did give him a sense of security and snuggle factor that helped him self sooth back to sleep safely between dad and I at night. It make breastfeeding more safe because i can just put him right back in when done and we drift back to sleep.

I have a 2 week old baby, and so far we are loving the Snuggle Me. It was pricey, and I was a bit underwhelmed when I first received it. But once the baby was born and we started using it, I've found it very helpful. I use it as a cosleeper and have it next to me in the bed. It also fits perfectly into our bedside bassinet and we plan to use there as soon as the baby is sleeping for longer periods of time. I find that the design really does help keep the baby feeling secure and snuggled up.
