Can't believe I went so long without these little gadgets! I have charging stations in a couple of areas, and all the cords were constantly getting jumbled up and falling down toward the outlets. I don't think these are a solution for extreme "cable management," but they are fine for keeping your device's charger where you need it.
I mounted these little clips to be a little out of sight, but still reachable. I like the way the cords fit in the slots, but can still be pulled forward when needed (in the photo, notice one unused charger in the clip, one charger pulled through to the phone). My one star off is because the cord will slip completely out of the clip if you grab or pull it too roughly; I wish the little opening was just a bit tighter.
The sticky back has been fine for me on a variety of surfaces (wood, granite, painted wall). I had to move one clip and the mounting tape stayed behind, so I just replaced it with a clear Command Strip.

These are great! The adhesive is very strong. The slots are designed nicely that the cord locks in and is allowed to slide back and forth length wise. These have allowed me to keep charging cords up off of the floor where our cat would play with them, we would step on the ends and hurt our feet or break them, etc. Helps organize cords and keep things neater. I do tug the cord out of them more than I'd like when I'm using my phone while plugged in, but I don't think that's a failure of the product - just my abuse of it.

I don't use greasy cleaners for my dashboard, but this product would not stick well to any portion of the lower or upper dashboard. In fairness, there is a hardly noticeable texture on the dashboard, which is probably the issue. I ended up sticking it to the back of the cellphone holder to prevent the charging cable from falling when not in use, and it stuck perfectly.
The product itself is great. The channels are perfect for my charging cable, and the rubber friction prevents unintended slippage. I can complain about the sticky tape, and I'm reducing my review by 1 star, but I'm not entirely surprised and (sadly) expected that I might need to upgrade the sticky tape to something more typically used on slightly textured plastic.
