Basic replacement for Mr Coffee filters. Inexpensive. Cheap Construction.
Appears to do it what it's supposed to... addition filtration of water into coffee maker.
Don't recommend this be your only tap water filtration.

SPEND THE EXTRA MONEY AND BUY REAL ONES!!! THESE ARE A JOKE!!! First use of one of these and the filter separated from the filter frame. Threw away and tried again, second filter leaked (because the filter that is supposed to be "charcoal" is apparently bedroom comforter stuffing or something and prevents most of the water from going through. WASTE OF MONEY!!!!!!!
It is a loose fit and falls out of the ring too easily. I don't taste any difference in the coffee ...

I gave it 4 stars because it is a little small for my coffee maker. It is a loose fit and falls out of the ring too easily. I don't taste any difference in the coffee though and my previous filter had been used for months. So it really needed replacing. Next time, I'll look for a replacement that fits a little more snugly. Other than being a loose fit, it seems to work well.

these filters are great and very affordable, my only problem I was shorted 1, however for the price, I am not messing with a return. keeping and using as is/. first filter in and being used and doing great. i will hesitate to buy these again, just because of the package being shorted , otherwise we are very pleased with these.
Makes the coffee taste better on city water.

I bought a friend of mine a new coffee pot for Christmas this year and these are replacement filters. The water at her apartment is not great due to it being city water and she said with these installed the coffee tastes better.
