This is the perfect enclosure for a door access controller. 5 Amp, 12 Volt supply provides ample power for two readers and a magnetic door strike or other relay-operated device. The box provides a pre-punched hole for a serial connector, and knock-outs for cables to readers and strikes. I'd have given 5 stars if the various holes were better designed for the cables you're most likely to use: network,reader(s) and strikes, and if a cover plate was provided for the often unused serial connector cutout as well as rubber grommets for the knock-outs.
