The Clamptite CLT01L is a good tool and well-made in the USA. A bit pricey for a little hand tool, but I'd probably charge you as much if you wanted me to make you one. The less expensive model with some aluminum parts would do the same thing for less, but this one was worth the price for premium materials to me.
It takes a bit of finesse to get the technique down, but it works well if used correctly. If you're skilled with hand tools, this one can pay for itself. By the end of my life, I believe I'll get my money's worth out of it.

This is a must have for an emergency road kit or bug out bag. The possible uses are nearly endless and quality of clamp that it makes is incredible.

Like the title states it's a great little tool to make great one time use clamps. I prefer to use 032 wire over the 040 safety wire with this smaller tool.
