A lot of extra work but it works.

The only reason for the 4 star rating is that the unit couldn't be adjusted down to the 5-3/16" length without disassembling and cutting off an inch of the frame. Also had to use the old top be cutting the welds on the new unit and mounting the sending unit to the old top. But, it has been many years since my 75 CJ5 has had a fuel gauge and so far it is working with the new Bosch gauge that I purchased with this unit.ðŸ˜

I really don't know how to rate this. I ordered it and it was not the one that would fit what I was getting it for. It was the same thing but it wasn't what it showed to be.

Range doesn't seem to be linear.

So far I'm not too tickled with this unit. My fuel gauge doesn't read the same each time on fill up. I know my gauge is good. I checked the ohms when full and it isn't linear.
Now I know how much fuel I have in the tank

Replaced original with a little tweeking. Cut excess rod off, thought I was going to have to replace gauge so I purchased that also. Sender and float worked with my current gauge......no more flutter! I used this on a 743 bobcat skidsteer.
