Quality control is lacking

While the product itself is delicious, it's a definite risk purchasing online. I bought two bags in November and one was perfect...the other not so much. I didn't even have to open it to know there was something wrong. Upon taking it out of the box you could see through the clear portion of the package that the jerky was an icky grey color. NOPE! I did survey the bag, before chucking it, to see if it had been compromised in some way, but I couldn't find a hole or any tears, so I'm not sure what the deal was. Amazon is great and gave me a refund immediately, but still a bummer to go through. I don't think I'll be repurchasing from here.

I always get this from Walmart and this is my first time to order it on Amazon which is also my first time to give 1 star on amazon. (I've never given any review lower than 4 stars. and I give another original flavor 5 stars) It was super disappointing. I ordered two packs of beef jerky. (One is original flavor and another one is hickory smoked) The beef jerky of hickory smoked flavor is molded everywhere! My brother almost ate it! I think I will request to return it soon.

We receive this on Subscribe & Save. Usually it is fine and there is no issue. HOWEVER, the last package we received was full of moldy Jerkey. Unfortunately my husband did not notice this until after he ate a piece. Gross.

Classic peppered beef jerky by Jack Links! Love the product. Usually see a fall off when the company is the most dominant name in the industry, but their product is better priced and the best jerky I've had to date. Even beats out the expensive stuff I've tried.
Buy this one in the grocery store.

This was extremely dry. We've bought countless bags of the Jalapeno from the grocery store and the dollar store and never had a dry bag like this one. It doesn't go out until August 2018 so it's in date. Maybe they keep it in an environment that is really arid or something. Definitely stick to the grocery store. The Jalapeno is excellent when you get a good bag.
