Works Perfectly!

Works Perfectly! Looks like the earlier issues are a thing of the past, cuz mine works really well. Great product.
Simple yet effective.

We've been using this product for about ten months. The range works well throughout our 3/4 acre property and 1100 square foot home. While we don't use all of the features it offers, we do use the music, which can be turned on/off from the remote if need be. It's a simple product but has functioned well for our purposes. We haven't needed to contact customer service and we didn't receive a defective product so we can speak to those concerns.
useless-moterola customer service unhelpful

This was purchased for us as a shower gift. the parent unit never held a charge, so to get it to work we had to make sure the parent unit was always plugged into the wall; which was fine for overnight, but attempting to do anything like laundry or other chores while baby was napping was impossible. I called customer service they said they'd send me a new battery; it never arrived. In the meantime the parent unit and the nursery unit started randomly getting disconnected; despite both units being powered on and plugged into the wall. After 6 weeks of waiting for a battery to show up I called customer service back; they offered to send me a new unit, however I'd have to first send them the broken unit back (leaving me completely without a baby monitor; a semi-functional one is better than nothing) or they would send me a new one, but put a $150 hold on my credit card until they receive my broken monitor back, however after 28 days they would keep the $150; given their current record of timely shipping I'm also not inclined to allow them to charge my credit card. While moterola is generally a brand I trust for quality, they have lost my trust as a consumer and I'd caution against buying their products.
Awful

Constantly beeps that it isn't connected or "linked". It isn't that far from the base either.
