Trader Joe's almond butter
Rhonda R.•September 6, 2017
Trader Joe's creamy almond butter is great. This almond is healthy and good tasting.
It has a good taste but does not mix well
June S. Kubli•August 21, 2017
It has a good taste but does not mix well. Whether the jar is turned upside down, refrigerated, shaken or stirred, it seems to want to stay separate or at best in globs. It makes a real mess on the toast if I try to spread it and on the jar when trying to contain it.
Different product than in stores

For some reason, this is NOT the same 'creamy salted almond butter' sold in trader joes stores - no idea why but the ingredients are different, and the taste isn't the same. This one only has roasted almonds and salt while the one they sell in stores has a very little amount of cashew butter added to it but it makes a HUGE difference in taste and texture. Disappointed.

Really love this
Better than peanut butter
Brooke•September 13, 2016
I could literally put Trader Joe's almond butter on anything and it would taste amazing. This stuff is addictive.
I really like that it's natural and has only a few ingredients but still tastes amazing. I've had some almond butter that is hard and clumpy and gets pretty disgusting, especially if refrigerated. This almond butter is rich and flavorful, but not creamy (as advertised) If you're expecting it to spread like peanut butter, don't be disappointed when it doesn't. It's thinner than peanut butter, which makes it the perfect consistency to drizzle over things. I personally think it's great over toast, oatmeal, ice cream, fruit, and even raisin bran cereal.
The instructions on this say "For best results, refrigerate after opening" but I NEVER do. It gets too thick when refrigerated. We run out within a week or two in my house anyway so I'm not too concerned about spoilage.
I think of this stuff as a better version of peanut butter. I could go my whole life without ever eating peanut butter and be totally satisfied as long as I get my Trader Joe's almond butter.
