You get what you paid for. This dress is designed and made poorly. It looks cheap. The dress I received had numerous loose threads, the corset inlay was sewn in wrong, the stitching was along the seams and split was crooked and the sequins began to fall off as I removed the dress from the packaging. The color is a dull rose gold. The dress was incredibly wrinkled. I am a standard size 6 in mostly everything. My measurements are 33.5-27-37. I sized up initially and I had to return the size 8 it was too large all over. I ordered the size 6 next. The bottom half of the dress fit but the top half of the dress was too large. I am 5 "3" and a 1/2 and the dress dragged the floor 4 inch heels. I wasn't impressed with the dress to begin with and I knew I did not want the headache of attempting to have it altered so I returned it.

Gorgeous economical gown on a budget. It was not sewn by Oscar de La Renta, so please... be realistic! For $100 it's fabulous and chic, and very unique! I had to trim a few strings, dropped a few insignificant sequins (think of it as the glass slipper they'll use to find you) ;) I will be hemming the length. I am 5'6, and it's about 4" too long. I'll lose the 1.5" of lace at the bottom unless I pay extra to have it reattached but I'd prefer it not be there anyway. I'm getting married in this gown at an evening winter wedding and my friends family all agree it's a perfect choice!
Color: Yes it's a pale muted gold, not ultra shiny, and not a bright gold. Blush champagne would have been a better color descriptor than "Gold." Gems at bustline are mostly clear crystal in a silver setting, so go silver with jewelry not gold or rose gold, in my opinion. Bold rinestone or Swarovski earrings in silver tone match perfectly. My shoes are a sparkly muted beige (bone) shade.

This dress is gorgeous, a perfect fit for me, and I am amazed at the value! I am 5'11 and the length of this dress is fantastic for me! With heels on, it is perfect in the front and has a slight train at the back. I didn't attach the back panel for inside where you lace up the dress and just left it laced with my skin underneath. I can't begin to express how rare of a find this dress is for us tall girls! I am a 14/16 and it fits perfectly!

I absolutely love this dress! My measurements are chest 34.5", waist 31.5", and hips 41". The top of the dress was pretty big but the adjustable straps were good enough to tighten and hold me pretty good. Now because I am a little wider around the hips, that part of the dress was a little snug but I still fit in it. I am normally a size 8, I bought a size 10 to accommodate my bottom. I will need to drop about a half inch from that area to fit perfectly in it. There is no stretch in the dress around the hips at all and that would have been a plus if it did. Needless to say though, I will be looking to use Meier again if I ever need a dress like this again. Highly recommend this dress and the company, especially since it's in the US.

Pretty dress. Quality is reflected in the inexpensive price. The dress is NOT gold. It is a rosy beige. You should at least change the color description to "rose gold".
