This is one of the only remote control toys that didn't break - in the 10 years I've been buying toys!

We have two of these and have had the other one for over a year. I am really not a fan of remote control toys. In my experience, they all seem to break easily and quickly. Can I mention that we had two Hexbugs that broke THE SAME DAY we purchased them?! They were used under supervision and regular conditions, and not even dropped. Just quit. Anyway... beside the point. However, that was why I felt I needed to review this one. This is maybe one of 3 remote control toys that have not broken/quit and my kids still play with it (not daily, but somewhat frequently). So, if you want to pay the money, this one seems worth the price to me. No heartbroken kids or hassles to make returns.

It does not respond to commands easily! You really need to shake the heck out of the little controller to get it to respond. My son lost interest in Miposaur after a few hours to shaking the ball trying to get it to respond.

Got this for my nephew for Christmas... he loves it!!!! The ball has a "leash" setting that causes the miposaur to follow him where ever he goes, a fetch setting which lets him roll the ball and the miposaur goes and finds it.
I'm amazed by the Segway-like balance this little robot has.. it works on multiple surfaces.. very cool.

Love chasing the ball

This is a big win in holiday gifts!! Brought is for my 3 year old son and it is really fascinating. He paid with the ball mostly and we have used the app. Driving on the app was a little hard because it takes 2 fingers- one for left right other forward or backward. Love chasing the ball. Acts more like a dog than a dinosaur but... I'd recommend it.
My grandsons just love this, especially the youngest of the 6 year ...

My grandsons just love this, especially the youngest of the 6 year old triplets This was his birthday present. All three have had so much fun learning how to use it and playing with it. It is very well built and kid friendly. The Miposaur acts like a little puppy trying to please it's new master. I especially like it when it is in dance mode. The tail does detach which at first one of my grandsons thought he broke it but it easily attaches back on. It glides across our hardwood floors with no issues. It does fairly well on rugs too. I do like the ides of it being able to be control by hand gesture and the ball control that comes with it. The children absolutely love this Miposaur and have tons of fun with it. I would recommend this to anyone who has a young child.
