Don’t Buy This

My son was so excited to receive this. After reading a ton of bad reviews we were hesitant.. but ordered it anyways. Do Not But This. It works? It doesn't work? It makes loud loud "searching" sounds/music and it is very inconsistent. There ar which better car toys on the market out there, for cheaper too! Find something else for your little one.

My 4 year old loves this, which was expected, but what was unexpected was that his 19 year old aunt loves it too! They played for hours after he got it for his birthday, and found 4 nails, an unidentifiable piece of metal, and a pipe in our yard. The detector is better than the one I had as a kid 20 years ago! For the price, it was definitely worth it.

We purchased the treasure truck for my son add a Christmas gift. We never knew that it would be equally (and possibly more) fun for the grownups as well. Having a lightweight handheld metal detector actually comes in handy. It doesn't matter if you've dropped a wedding ring or are trying to find an electric box behind a wall, this simple toy is actually handy!

This is a very cool toy. Actually, my daughter wanted it. It would seem like a better toy for a boy, but she likes the idea of the treasure thing. The greatest thing about this truck are the sounds it makes. The sounds are great, that coupled with the nice bright lights that go off when you're over treasure makes for a great combination. The white scoop that you can see in the picture lifts off the front and creates a shovel that you can use to dig in the sand or dirt. I don't think you'd want to do much heavy digging with it because it would break, but its really good in the sand and loose dirt. Overall, its a really cool toy and my daughter uses it from time to time and has alot of fun with it.

I bought three of these for Christmas and all three loved them. They actually found metal, nails that was in the lawn that we didn't realize was there. The ages were 4, 6 and 10. My sister thought they were so much fun she bought some for her and her grandkids. One of them found their fathers wedding band, he had lost. Well worth the money and hours and hours of fun.
