Edit 10/14/2020- We are still thrilled with this product. Berry BooDog thinks the supplements are delicious and she is enjoying obvious pain relief. We did experience a side effect, however. It WAS OUR OWN FAULT. But I wanted to give a warning to others to avoid making the mistake we made. After a couple of weeks I noticed something was off with The Boo. She seemed a bit sluggish and was frequently asking to go outside to do her business. Also, this hoggy doggy was turning her nose up at snacks! I did some fast research and it turns out she was constipated. We had given her too much of the supplement. It was pretty easy to forget this is a supplement and not a snack because she loves them so much. On the label is states you can start out at a certain dose but then lower it and we had not lowered it when we were supposed to. From my research I learned that, while it isn't terribly common, this sort of supplement can cause constipation with higher doses. I also learned that at her size we could give her stool softener. I paired that with foods that would help her to go and it passed quickly. Lesson learned. We were so excited to see her get some relief that we were not as careful as we should have been.
As I said this was our own fault and not the fault of the product at all. This is a wonderful product to help with the pain and stiffness Berry has experienced as she has aged. We will continue to purchase this and provide it for her as it has really improved her quality of life.
Original review:
I am thrilled with this product. Our girl is getting up there and having some problems with pain and we could tell this because she struggled with the stairs. She also struggled getting into her favorite chair that's always been hers. I found this product by searching on Amazon and this is the 1st one I've tried. I expected maybe with see some relief for her after a month maybe a couple of weeks if we were lucky. I was surprised to see our girl coming up the steps much more quickly and seeming much happier within the 1st couple of days! I didn't mention anything and my husband commented on it independently. It's a hands down difference in speed and ability to maneuver that is unmistakable.
She loves to eat these and to her they are like a treat when she comes in from outside, so I can give her *medicine* and it's also a yummy treat! These are very competitively priced compared to other products.
We are delighted to have have something to helps her pain and stiffness that she also loves and that is very affordable. I highly recommend these to anyone who wants to help their beloved doggie friend with some pain and stiffness issues.

Dog treats

Got these treats for my 9-year old German Shepard. I've noticed he's been struggling a little bit jumping on beds & getting in and out of the car. After about a week of taking these treats, I've noticed some more energy in him and he doesn't seem to struggle as much. Good results for the price. Would buy again.
inexpensive, basic mobility supplement, more care needs to go into shipping (or container itself)
Precise Disarray✓ Verified Purchase•January 15, 2024
I haven't been using these too long. My first container arrived with the top popped off and the plastic film broken- which emptied the contents into the shipping box. I don't think it is a matter of tampering, but that the small container jostling around in a big box led it to popping off. The plastic film freshness/tamper film is thin and the cup is really just a milk carton style cup, so.. imagine easy to break. What was in the box did seem fresh, so I figured it was popped open during shipment a decided it was worth trying another one. I requested a replacement and got one immediately. Those arrived in good condition.
I have been using a different mobility supplement for my two young labs (at the time, 3 years old and 1.5 year) for about a year. It started when my big girl was sometimes favoring a back leg. I immediately set out to trim some weight off and get her started on a supplement. The latter helped almost immediately. We also slowly took some weight off, as weight came off energy and mobility increased. She went from 95 now to 77. I mention this because less weight on joints is going to do wonders. I added in the supplement to support her joints now- and in the future. Using a supplement, especially with big breeds is good to use at any age, in any condition- so I started my young boy on them as well. So while I am not making a switch from the brand we are loyal to, I am ok with giving a couple doses a week with a different brand.
Start with the higher dosage, then go to maintenance dose (which is typically halve the starter dose). This is your daily supplement dose. Some companies will say to up it back to starter dose as needed. Consult vet for more advice on that.
For us, selecting this item all began when I was running low on our preferred supplement, and needed something to tide us over until the other arrived. I looked for something comparable. When I came across this product, read through dozens of reviews including all of the low rated ones, I decided to give this a try. While it wasn't my primary concern, I was intrigued that it is about 10x less expensive than what I normally give them; and reviews seemed favorable, or at least not that much different than any other brand I was looking at. All seemed to skew the same- except price. At $7.99 for a dog over 80 lbs, that is 3 chews a day (maintenance). A 90 count container will last 30 days for 1 80+ lb dog. That is .08 cents per chew, so 0.24 cents per day per dog (so for me .48 per day for 2 dogs). With similar math, my others cost 0.81 cents per day per dog, so $1.62 per day. I still feel more comfortable and satisfied with their other brand, but I think now I can add in maybe 2 doses of this per week per dog to change things up. Some similarities in the formula, some differences.
Hope this helped. I will make a point to come back here to update if we experience anything out of the ordinary- good or bad. So far so good. My girl likes the flavor, my extra picky boy will get around to it. Neither are used to chicken livers, so that might be their hesitation. I have no idea how many calories are in these as pet food supplements do not have to add that information in (but some do anyway). Since my girl is on a diet, I do prefer to know. These are quite tiny, so I imagine in the 10-13 calorie range at most. I'm not sure if I like that the ingredients might possibly be sourced from China- so keep than in mind when deciding on these. Container says Made in USA, but with "globally sourced" ingredients. I went to their website and found this info in their FAQ section:
"Are PetNC Naturals vitamins and supplements manufactured in the US? Answer:

Working for a 16 Year Old Beagle
Magellanous✓ Verified Purchase•December 28, 2023
My beagle has shaky back legs when he's standing still. And my vet suggested that I try out supplements that contain these ingredients. I had looked at several other options and they all looked as though they had pretty much the same ingredients. So I decided to try these and within a few days, I noticed that the rear leg shaking had, almost completely vanished. He also tried to jump into the back of my truck which he hadn't done well over a year. Even the daycare people said they had noticed the difference. For that reason, I recommend this after having used it for about three weeks.
I think for the price, it's worth trying. Just make sure you follow the recommended dosage. In his case he is getting one in the morning and one in the evening for a little while longer and then will be switching to once a day. They look like beef treats. he seems to like them a lot. It is advised in the instructions that you give these with food.

Hold onto your furballs, because I've got a tail-wagging tale to tell about PetNC Natural Care Hip and Joint Soft Chews "“ the canine confections that turn every stroll into a joyous jig!
First off, these chews are like doggy dessert dreams come true. It's as if they raided the treat aisle in a pet paradise and sprinkled a dash of magic on each chew. My pooch, normally a discerning treat critic, devours these with the enthusiasm of a pup who just discovered a hidden stash of squeaky toys.
But it's not just about the taste; it's about the hip and joint heroics these chews perform. I've witnessed my dog transform from a reluctant walker to a four-legged sprinter, thanks to these little wonders. It's like they've got a secret mission to turn every walk into a canine marathon, and my furry friend is up for the challenge.
Now, let's talk about the ingredients "“ it's like a health spa for dogs in chew form. Glucosamine, chondroitin, and MSM team up to create a powerhouse blend that could rival any canine fitness regimen. I half expect my dog to start offering fitness classes for the neighborhood pups "“ the next Jane Fonda of the dog world, perhaps?
And the flexibility these chews provide! My dog has become the yoga master of the dog park, effortlessly executing downward dogs and upward pups. It's like PetNC Natural Care gave my canine companion a backstage pass to the Cirque du Soleil of flexibility.
But here's the real kicker "“ the softness of these chews. They're like pillows for your pup's palate, a chewy embrace that says, "You're not just a pet; you're part of the family." I've caught my dog giving me puppy eyes that seem to say, "More chews, please. I promise to share my squeaky toys."
In conclusion, PetNC Natural Care Hip and Joint Soft Chews aren't just treats; they're the canine elixir of joy. They turn walks into adventures, dogs into flexible yogis, and treat time into a tail-wagging celebration. So, grab a bag, watch your dog's eyes light up, and get ready for a journey of joint-jumping, hip-hopping happiness!
