Originally indeeded for syma x5 frame however i used them in conjunction with 1st gen syma x5 board in custom repair to clone mini ghost design. And after several flight test works more than enough in my Frankin Ghost.

They work on my hubsan 502s but they are lacking the power the stock motors put out in , y honest opinion I would recomend staying with the one that say hubsan replacement instead of the specs sometimes these companies strech the truth on their proformance so stay with the hubsan replacements

I've only used 1 motor so far. I hear that some pilots lke to install all 4 new ar once.You do get 4 motors total. ( I didn't do that this time. But I can say that the -new motor i broke in- a lill slower for the first flights but now we are at full power for sure. Yes, the motors, are fast, at least as fast as stock but I do have to trim a bit since I only changed 1 motor.

I bought this set to replace a bad motor on my Syma X5. The Syma motor was not functioning reliably any longer, requiring a *flick* to engage and run, so I looked around. I replaced the bad motor with the appropriate motor from this set and the drone functioned just like new again. The motor RPM and power is identical to the originals so there was no need to make any trim adjustments to the drone function at all. Great replacement.

These motors are a good price, have matching nylon gears so they won't damage the existing rotor gears on the Syma (mixing brass and plastic is a recipe for wearing out the plastic teeth). The motors in this set are a full replacement for the Syma motors with two clockwise and two anti-clockwise motors. You can tell which is which when you are replacing the OEM motors because the wiring is different color (just do one at a time so that you don't lose track of which goes where.

The most basic of soldering skills is required to replace the motor. Open up the drone and look at the circuit board. Follow the leads from the motors to the board and gently un-solder them. Remove and discard the old motor, hold the new motor leads (match up the wire color to the wire that you just removed, it's that simple) and re-solder. I didn't add any additional solder or flux, just used the existing bead that remained on the board when I removed the first motor and it was done.

Originally I was purchasing this pack to replace one of the motors on a quadcopter I fly around for fun, simply because of the price and rating. However when another motor went bad, I replaced that one and I want to say it appears as if the replacements work better than the originals. The only thing I noticed was my battery getting warmer faster after flying.
