This slip fits large, I wish I had gone a size smaller BUT it is going to be a very comfortable nightgown that is not overtly sexy but still sexy AND I'll use it as a slip under dresses AND a "skirt extender" under my mini dresses. I'm a lanky 5'8" and mini dresses are micro dresses on me. This slip will look really good peeking out the bottom and provide more coverage. The lace trim is nice enough to show and make sense fashion wise. Thankfully this slip is well made which is all too often a risk here on Amazon so leave your reviews so we can weed out the undesirables and reward companies like this who serve us well.

I possibly could have gotten away with a size 36, but I am larger in the bust so I went with a size 38 just to be safe, especially after reading other reviews that said the slip was tight in the chest. The fit in the bust is perfect, and it is loose and flowy everywhere else. I bought this to wear for "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof" as Maggie, and I definitely needed a nude bodyshaper underneath to prevent my underwear from showing through onstage, but I expected as much. I love the lace details, very pretty! Fast shipping too.
