Super cute little shirt! I ordered my son a 2t and he's 21 months. He usually wears 24months/2t in his clothes. It fit perfectly! It's definitely a dress shirt, great material! It was worn under a vest with a suit and even without the vest I don't feel it was sheer or see through. It's a little thin but makes it breathable and comfortable for the kids. Also, the collar part fit perfect with a bowtie on.

I like the way my son looks in this shirt. My son is 12 and wears a 12 husky and men's small in shirts or some boys XL.
My son likes the shirts with some give, but not too much to where it's baggy. I still like him to look cleanly dressed.
I ordered a size 20 and it was a nice fit.
I have another of these in a different color. Sharp clean colors. I do always size up my boys dress clothes as they always are extremely true to size or sometimes small.
It worked out for us. I would recommend this shirt and quality
