How do you review a capo? I think that's a valid question. There are many capos out there, Amazon has a ton of them. I picked this one. Why? I don't know, maybe I liked the way it looked, maybe I liked some of the reviews, maybe, maybe, maybe. Anyway, I ordered this capo and am very pleased with it. It is easy to put on the neck of my guitar, depresses the strings very well, and I don't know what else to say about it. It is a capo, and if I ever need another capo, I will likely buy one of these. It also comes in a nice, cloth pouch (not sure why but it is a nice touch). It is quite a step up from my previous capo that I purchased with my first guitar (the one I still play, or try to play) in 1981, if that helps. My old one still worked fine but I just felt like buying something new. I don't know where I put my old one, I don't need it anymore now that I have this one. If this helps you decide to purchase this capo over another, great, I don't think you will regret it.
Buy with confidence, great product

I have had this capo for over a year & had been very happy with it. I have small hands and so many capos can be awkward for me to use if there is a large spread. I only mention the following to showcase the company's excellent customer service: Suddenly the metal seemed to fail & it broke. I contacted the company and they responded right away and are sending a replacement for free! They also thanked me for sharing the picture of the damaged product so they can continue to improve their product & keep this from occurring again. You can buy this with confidence that if something does go wrong, it will be taken care of. Great customer care, Nordic!!
Great quality

Very easy to handle. Clamps on tightly, without sending the strings out of pitch. I used it on my 12 string during special occasion and it functioned very well.
More Than Satisfied

I have a pile of guitars, and a ton of gear/accessories/etc to go with them, but I can never seem to find one of my half dozen capos when I need one, for some reason...
I bought this for the rigs in the living room, but it looks nice with my Taylor 814e, so I have dedicated it solely to that guitar instead...
I will likely be ordering at least one more, and maybe a few more, just to be able to find them when I need them....
Shipping was on time, as expected, and it works, as expected.... also, it looks nice...
UPDATE: While visiting a couple of different guitar shops(one big chain store, one local instrument dealer) around town, I checked out the different capos they carried and price compared them to this one. I ended up ordering two more of these on Amazon, and couldn't be happier with them. I feel they are a great buy, and also look nice! I am putting one of these in each guitar case, so I am never having to look for one again(which means I will be ordering a few more down the road.... my paycheck doesn't allow for me to buy a dozen of these all at once! lol)

Cooler than a Normal Standard Black Capo

Capo is a must have for any acoustic guitar player.
Have been using the normal capo design for years. Decided to try this out.
Overall its a very good capo. Really nice finish on the capo, feels very well made. Looks way cooler than the regular plastic black capo.
It is a little easier to clamp onto the neck of the guitar. But as far as functionality, it works pretty much just as good as the standard capo. If you clamp if on a little crooked or not close enough to a fret, it can still buzz or mess up the note on one of the strings and you have to adjust it.
Overall I think the biggest upgrade is just that it looks way cooler than a normal capo.
