For this price range (80 ish) you won't find a better item like it. I have a garage filled with used commercial gym equipment to give you an idea and have been involved in the gym industry for over 30 years, hence why I refer to it as the gym industry and not the f word because I'm an old "Gym" goer and never went to a "Fitness Center". No disrespect meant to the negative reviewers however I strongly disagree with the issues mentioned. If the piece "slides apart" then you have not assembled it correctly as there are pre-drilled holes on one side of the cross member so this cross member could easily fit with the "wrong side up" and therefore no holes to "lock" the spring/threaded hand tightened bolt into. There would be simply no chance for the equipment to "slide apart", the hand tightened screw/spring pin/bolt engages well into the holes drilled in the cross member (the piece(s) that allow the apparatus to be lengthened or shortened). The bolt holes all line up perfectly throughout the entire unit. I am 5'10", 230, and it is sturdy. For a non-commercial inexpensive piece of gym equipment, this is more than a fair value. Sure the pads, particularly the rollers, could be better but that is exactly what you get in this price range and although they are wimpy, they do the job. This is remarkable to purchase at 80 bucks and free shipping.

Like most people on here are saying, it's ok for the price. You get what you pay for but it is kinda flimsy. Really the only think i don't like is the way your feet position on the backplate. It constantly shifts and that piece is't very sturdy. Everything else is good.

The product seems sturdy and was simple to put together. I used pliers (not included) to hold the nut as I used the Allen wrench (included) to tighten the bolts. This made the bench much sturdier. The only suggestion I do have, however, is the cradle that the handle and pad assembly slides into does not fit snuggly enough. Even with the bolts tightened fully, the whole assembly can tilt enough than it may be difficult to maintain your balance if the majority of your body weight is on the handles. While I'm confident that the handles won't detach completely, that small "˜wiggle' from that loose fit makes me a little less than comfortable when I lean forward.

It's great if you want to do sit-ups in it or maybe if you're a small frame person. I tried to do leg curls and that didn't go well. I had to weigh one end down or else it tipped over. I will say it's pretty low cost for what you're getting, so points on value.

Very unsturdy and then terrible customer service from CAP. None of the metal pieces made contact and the whole thing was wobbly. It would've needed to be welded together to be safe. Piece of junk. Don't waste your money or your time.
