because it is universal with lots of adjustability it doesn't stay where it should. high speeds and car washes move it. at one point it did a 180 on the support rod and scratched my car. Yes I bolted it together correctly with a good amount of force....even used loctite.

Honestly...Its a great idea. and not a bad product, I highly recommend having an impact wrench to put it together though. Also, it does not fully cover a normal sized US license plate, which may cause the plate to bed.

Works great and looks great, only reason not giving it 5 stars is I feel like it sticks out to far for my taste. But it's better then attaching to the grille or bumper and easy to remove when I move somewhere without front license plate.
