Based on reviews, this did not disappoint. I love the small details and the simple design. The versions with pockets seem helpful, but in the long run I think those would make your car look dirty and messy as it collects dust and stuff. This one is smooth and fulfills the need to protect the back of our nice leather seat. My son's shoes slide against this and it is fine, good quality, easy to clean, and has not worn out. The selling point is installation and appearance after installation. I can slip the lower straps through the gap in the seat and then once installed, the straps are virtually unnoticeable, which keeps your car looking sharp. You may choose the cheaper version because you think you don't care about this, but you will when you see eyesore straps in the wrong of the seat and then you have to sit on them while wearing nice clothes you just ironed. You won't miss the pockets because your kid will just throw everything around the car anyway. Find another way to keep your car organized.
Watch Out 2018 Toyota Highlander Owners!

This is indeed a very nice kick mat - and I do love that it coordinates with the interior of my new Highlander. But.... the strapping design will not work with the 2018 Highlander - don't know about other years. The bottom strap is supposed to thread all of the way through the base of the seat back and the seat cushion, then thread through loops at the bottom of the kick mat, and then back through the seat back and cushion again.
You can't do that with the 2018 Highlander - the space betwwen the seat back and seat cushion does NOT go all the way through - the back of the seat is completely enclosed.
So I was still able to stretch the bottom strap all the way around the seat and get it to fit well enough. Not ideal, bit I think we can live with it. I kinda wanted to give this three stars - but I should have read the entire description of the product more thoroughly and carefully - so I added the one star back in. Just make sure that you can go completely from the front of your car's seat, ALL of the way to the back. If it does, you will have a wonderful kick mat!

Does well, but the way the strap is supposed to work doesn't work for every vehicle. Make sure you check and see if you can put your hand between
where the back and seat cushion meet of your front car seat. If you can see your hand come through the back of it, you can use this the way it's made to be used. If not, you are left with just the top part holding it. If your seat is angled back, it will hang in the way and your child can move it to the side or put their feet under it and lift it making it useless.

Fits very nice. My seat are a bit narrow (17 inches at its widest point) so this protector was on the top 3 of my choices. Most protectors are +18 inches and i didnt want to put anything wider that the seat.
The color is very tan and my seats are beige leather, i had my reservations of how would it look but it turned out very nice.
The invisible strap was very easy to install, is about 90% invisible because u can still see the strap on the side of the seat. That is not too important but it is more notice on my car since my seats fold forward to access the back seat (2010 VW beetle)
Lastly, i dont get why other people complain that it only comes one protector and not 2. Folks if you have one kid you need one mat, if you got 2 then you need 2! Stop blaming the seller, do your own research and choose the beat fit for your needs.

We just got a new car with tan leather interior so I bought these to protect the seat backs from muddy shoes and boots. I did a lot of research before making the purchase but decided to go with these because they seemed the most durable and I appreciate the tan color. Worth every penny! The buckle around the headrest is adjustable so I was able to snug the protectors to the tippy top of the seat. The bottom buckle is engineered to go around the front seats and then back through so you're not sitting on the elastic. My car has an extra flap so this didn't work but the elastic isn't noticeable when I'm driving. The best part is the boning across the top of the mat. This prevents the sides from falling. They blend right in with my interior and wipe clean.
