Minimum set point design flaw not documented.
W. Langford•May 23, 2016
BE WARNED!!!! Nothing in the documentation states this little fact, but you may run into an issue with this meter. Apparently, the High Set Point, while it can be set anywhere on the dial, has a designed in minimum of 175 degress. If you have a remote oil cooler as I do and do not see temps above this at the outlet, this meter will NOT trigger a ground to activate your fan. This information came directly from Autometer after I had received two apparently defective gauges. I rate the meter at 1 star because of what I consider to be a design flaw as the meter allows you to set this high limit anywhere on the dial, but something that cannot be adjusted apparently limits it to a 175 minimum. The complete lack of supporting documentation by Autometer is just insult on top of injury.
