I contacted their customer support and spoke with one of their customer service reps (Jed). I was pleasantly surprised that he seemed to care and provide some insight on the issues HK was having with their batteries and indicated that I would be receiving some sort of support. He even sent me an email with the steps to try to reset the speaker along with directions to respond back to the customer service group if it did not work.

The reset did not work, the product stopped working at 13 months - one month after the warranty expired. I got around to contacting them in September, two months after the warranty expired.

I sent an email to Jed telling him how the recommended reset did not work. He did not respond to me, instead I heard from another person in their "Customer Service" department stating that they would not help and then giving me a list of repair locations 30 miles from my house!

Why should I waste more money on a product that does not work after only 13 months? Why would I put more money in a product that HK will not support? Why would I spend more money on a product HK knows has a quality issue with and will not fix.

I will not. I would strongly recommend not buying anything form a company the not only sells a product with quality issues, but also a company that does not back up any implied commitments from their customer service team.

Where have you been all my life!? This device has the output that I've been missing in Bluetooth speakers. In my youth (ahem) we had full-sized JVC stereo racks, Pioneer, Kenwood, Jensen, etc. then TEAC and Yamaha came along. The sound that you wished for in the stereo store during demos. Maiden music played was Led Zeppelin, Itzhak Perlman, Elton John, Garth Brooks, Pavarotti, ELO, Adele, Lady Gaga, Sinatra, Aaron Copland etc. and even some of the "new" stuff .... every song was the best we've heard in ages! GREAT purchase ;)

This is the second one of these that I have purchased. I love it that much! Awesome bass tones, very rich. They are seriously durable. My older one rocked itself right off of the curio cabinet and fell about 7 feet to the ground. Now while one of the feet did break off, the equipment inside still sounds the same. I did epoxy that foot back on and have not had one issue with it. The one that broke was about 5 years old already. These are durable products. If you don't use the electrical cord, you will have 4 to 5 hours of playtime.

We've had this speaker 6 months. Plugged in, it sounds great. However, our battery no longer charges. It makes a bloop sound and immediately turns off. So we cannot go wireless at all. I contacted the seller and was told that since it was more than 30 days after sale, I could not exchange for one that works. This was an expensive speaker, I expected it to last more than 6 months! To top it off, we only start using the speaker a couple months ago when the weather got nice. Very, very disappointing.

Bought this for our daughter from Best Buy while visiting in Arizona. Incredible sound. All the reviews are spot on. So, I figured I should do some research and found this version for $70 less. Was a little worried by the description. International version. What? Yep, its the same speaker I assume a year older. No 3.5. So what. It's the same incredible sound. Rocking pretty loud got about three hours on the battery. So-so. Songs I use to test speakers. Carry On Crosby Stills and Nash. Seven Bridges Road. The acoustical sound sounds live. Stomp by Brothers Johnson to test the bass line. It's solid and punchy. By far the BEST sounding bluetooth speaker. About the size of a frisbee! Get it and enjoy!
