I play blue grass jams and like to have sheet music of the songs the way I was taught. this software is inexpensive and relatively easy to use. it is not particularly intuitive, but when all else fails, right click. also the VOLTA under notations is hidden far to the right. the key feature is you can easily listen to what you just wrote so easy to find errors. This software is perfect for me and what I use it for. highly recommend.

There are small problems but nothing you can not get over.

This is a really great piece of software once you figure it out. Complicated but it has to be to do what it is doing. I am learning to play piano and have never listened to music or even cared until now. I use to write the song as it is written for me to play so I can know how it is supposed to sound. Then I create a MIDI file to attach in my program and learn to play it with the sound which is correct. I also like the fact that you can change tempo and listen to that also so you will know what speed to play. This is so awesome. Thank you

My wife is a professional musician and had previously used Sibelius. She found it to be very expensive with a very long learning curve. I was looking for something more user friendly and less expensive. Crescendo was my first hit after a brief Google search. This program suits our needs, is very reasonably priced and is also very user friendly. We were up and running in a few minutes. It's very intuitive. We recomend it hightly.

I am using Crescendo for music composition. The application does OK and I get what I need it to do, however I'm had to figure things out myself. Questions to support go unanswered. I didn't purchase the technical support "upgrade" as I wasn't sure I needed it and I'm not sure if I had purchased the upgrade it would have been worth the money. As it was, they stated that I could get tech support for the first 30 days -- questions during that period are still unanswered.

If you are good at figuring things out by yourself, then this is a good product, however, there are many glitches and technical difficulties that come up during normal use which you have to figure out by-passes.
