My grandchildren have had so much fun searching for bugs and examining them. Better than watching t.v.

Budding scientists will love!

This thing is so great! We have a little scientist in the house and she loves to catch bugs! The design is easy to understand and figure out. She loves to detach the front with the magnifying glass to inspect her specimin and then release it outdoors!
Not a powerful suction motor though. Won't suck up anything large.

This toy worked for less than 24 hours. Tried replacing the batteries but still won't work. My 4 year old is devastated.
Perfect for bug loving little ones!

I ordered this for my daughter as a birthday gift and she absolutely loved it! With a creek running through our backyard, we have plenty of creepy crawlies for her to suck up and observe. The kit comes with a pincher-picker-upper which is best used on already dead bugs, a small net, observation container (that snaps tight and doesn't let the bugs out!), and vacuum. The vacuum has gentle suction that did not injure any insects or spiders we sucked up. Be ready to move fast closing the flap that keeps the bugs in the suction canister! This has provided hours of entertainment for my budding entomologist!
