That bad quality does not regulate the charge that reaches the battery, and has given me four batteries because it does not cut off the current when they are 100% charged.

One person asked if it shows amps? Now I can answer that question - No! I received it today and of course it's behaving in the same way the Sun YOBA 30 amp controller was. That's the one I just sent back because it wasn't charging the batteries or showing the amps being generated. At least the YOBA 30 showed the actual amps for about the first hour of use, and then became confused. All typical and predictable Chinese crap. I'm using my ammeter to give me the information I need, but I was hoping they weren't lying again about the capabilities of this controller - which they were. Millions of Americans lost jobs to china, and what we get in return is massive unemployment and cheap worthless products they send back our way. This Sun YOBA 80 amp charge controller is about as intelligent as our politicians.

This regulator has one "serious" problem. I bought it to replace my old 30Amp solar controller and very quickly noticed that will not fully charge my battery bank. I completely understand its operation and no amount of fine tuning will correct this problem. This controller/regulator will only charge my battery bank to 75%. As soon as I reinstalled my old 30Amp controller, my batteries over a few days finally returned to full charge based on battery specific gravity testing. Do yourself a favor and avoid this product!!!! You have been warned...

As long as you know what you're doing, this is a fine controller. But if you need help or a manual, forget it. The "manual" is an incoherent English translation that might well have stayed un- translated.
