Despite the fact that this cover is a bit pricey I convinced myself to get one and protect my scanner. However, it's very loose on Canonscan 9000. I think the issue is that they have designed one universal size to fit on a variety of scanners.
Does not fit my V550 like a cover made for it but probably the best you can do.

This is a universal cover no matter what they say. Look at the size specs of the scanners they say it fits and they all vary. No additional information is requested when you order this cover. It is a little too big overall for my V550 but that is probably the best you can do unless you make your own cover. The cover i got from them for my Canon Pixma Pro-100 fits perfectly and i hoped this one would too but i guess it is too much to ask a manufacturer to make covers specifically for a bunch of scanners, like they state. The company loved my praise of my printer cover but did not respond to my email about this one being too big. Also, it is $5 cheaper on Ebay then it is here. I wish i knew that before.

This is a one size fits all cover. It's too big for my scanner, but works ok. I'm disappointed that it doesn't fit better.

Was much better than I expected - fits well and is not just cheap plastic. Also arrived much sooner than they said and was packed well too.
