My husband like the shoe but not normally his style

My husband like the shoe but not normally his style. He got a lot of compliments when worn. It is a canvas shoe so we treated it with water/stain repellent before wearing out and we were overall impressed. This is really true to size. My husband wears a 11 in shoes but normally buys an 11.5 for sock room (he likes to wear thick socks or 2 pair in the winter to keep his feet warm). My previous experience with canvas is that is stretches when worn. I ordered the 11 and it was PERFECT even with the thick canvas socks. This was a great buy.
Maybe I'd be disappointed, but honestly I didn't want to pay more ...

These were much bigger than I anticipated even after already accounting for other's reviews. I would now say a full size smaller than normal. The insole has already come unglued and will either need to be glued back in, or replaced. Maybe I'd be disappointed, but honestly I didn't want to pay more than $20 for a shoe that I wanted to slip on for the summer and not worry about getting wet and sandy. They look decent and and are comfortable in the sun.

Awful

These fell apart the first time I wore them. The insoles came unglued and bunched up after 10 minutes of walking around. Worse, they are supposed to be held in place by really sticky double sided tape; which proceeds to get stuck on everything. Your hands, your socks, anything you touch, the floor you walk on while trying to get to the sink to clean the rest of this mess off. Be prepared to spend 10 minutes scrubbing everything you touch with goo-gone to remove the sticky residue and mess caused by these shoes falling apart the first time you wear them.
The shoes were nice enough but the size was way too large

The shoes were nice enough but the size was way too large. I'm partly to blame because the vendor didn't have my exact size which is 10.5 so I went with size 11 (or 44 in metric). I've worn that size before without any trouble but these were like boats with an inch to spare at the heel, more like a 12 or 12.5. Been trying to find a decent outdoor "slipper" in black at size 10 through 11 but all the brands seem to be sold out. Must be a really popular size range?
Mixed review, meh, maybe, hit and miss

Mixed opinion on this. I ordered a size 10, but I received two pairs--a size 10 and a size 11. The size 10 fit ok (I wear a 9.5), but the upper was low (forward), kinda more like a women's shoe, and it was a bit narrow. The size 11 was too large of course, but I didn't order it anyway. What was interesting was that, although they were supposed to be two sizes of the same shoe, they were actually two different shoes. All that said, although I returned them both, at first glance the quality for the price was fair. I think they would last a long season. Any complaints about the insole falling out is just silly. It's simply not glued in. Which is fine--take it out, use it as a template to cut an Dr Scholls insert. You'll need it, because these shoes are flat and firm.
