These mirror extenders did the trick. They look good on the motorcycle also.

Well chromed, these got my mirrors out past mu shoulders which really helps in traffic. They are well made and very substantial.

At the time I purchased these, there were no black ones available. Now there are a bunch. Boo. These are designed to attach to the top of your hand controls. But I have apes on my bike and wanted to mount underneath, while also having bar mounted signals. So needless to say there was a bit of grinding and filing required to get these to fit the way I wanted them to. But for the price vs the ones at the HD Stealership ($69), I didnt mind having to do some mickey mousing to make em work. And I am glad I did. Now if only I had remembered to paint them before installing. I might just order a set of black ones for the hell of it.

This product does exactly what it is advertised to do, and now I can actually see past my rather wide shoulders/arms and have a clear view of the road behind and beside me, using the stock mirrors on my 2006 Electra Glide. The install took probably less then 15 minutes, and was nothing but simple. I will say that a couple reviewers said there were no instructions so they weren't sure how these were to be mounted. I can't understand that because there are spacer tabs on the parts that clearly indicate which side they need to be mounted on in order to have proper clearance for the brake or clutch lever assembly. I did add a star washer to each side, and a little blue Loctite, a must on any motorcycle bolt or nut, so they will stay tight. I am very happy with this purchase.
