I recently suffered a rib fracture. I went to one of those urgent care centers, X-rays were taken and I was told No Fracture. Several hours later I got a call from another doctor(radiologist) who informed me I did in fact have a fractured rib.
I didn't have any kind of brace for the ribs and I saw this on Amazon and bought it. It has helped so much. It can be adjustable to several sizes and you can wear it as tight as you feel comfortable. Another feature is that the front of the brace is shaped to accommodate ladies breast. I have worn mine every day and will continue to wear it until my rib heals. By the way, my rib was fractured by being hugged to tight.

I suffered a cracked rib around the time I was scheduled to travel by air. Local stores didn't have rib braces or didn't have small sizes of the type braces that could be a reasonable substitute. Other products might last longer but they are rough on your skin.

I liked this compression belt because it was the right size I had ordered and was very comfortable to use and stayed in place with velcrose on the one end.It had helped ease my pain in my intercoastal muscles if my ribcage from a great fall I had and now because of it I am now able to do things more back to nirmalcy.I would recommend this compression belt to any one needing one and the price also was so I could afford it on a low income.It worked wonders for me in eading up my pain and helped me to get through each day and night til I was healed from my accidental fall.
