I bought this for my son who usually wears a size small in men's, but the jacket was way too big for him. I should've just gone by the regular sizing rather than the recommendation. Although, the material wasn't what I was expecting so I gusss I would've returned it either way.

I'm 5'8", weigh 195 pounds, and have a regular build. I went with the largest size, which is an American XL (Chinese XXXL), because I wear large-size clothing and most people suggest going a size up, especially if you're looking to wear it with a suit. The result was a coat that was simply far too big for me, even when wearing a suit. It was too roomy all around, went down to my knees (which I expected and was okay with, since I'm below average height in the U.S.), and the sleeves were incredibly long and far too spacious. My advice? Unless you're very tall or simply have freakishly large/long shoulders and arms, just get your regular size. If you wear an American medium, get an American medium. If you size up, EVERYTHING sizes up, so you'll probably end up looking like a child wearing his dad's clothing. Of course, it's also possible that I simply happened to get a larger than average coat. So don't discount that.

As far as the coat's quality/build is concerned, it seemed quite good for the short time I had it. But keep in mind that the picture shows the suit tapering in at the sides which, although it looks nice, is purely deceptive. The real thing just goes straight down.

My first camel coat and for the price, fit, and quality, it is a good value. I was a little skeptic that it might look real cheap or too small as some Asia clothing are. Initially, I went with size large, but found it baggy and boxy. I did contemplate tailoring size large as it is more comfortable around my shoulders and arms, but do not want to spend additional money. I went with medium. It fits similar to my Zara peacoat (L), but a little snug when I raise my arms. I like the light feel of the coat because living in a warmer region, you only get to bust out long winter coats for a short period and it can get too hot to wear during the day. It is not as warm or thick as my better quality coats, but I can see myself wearing this in low 70's breezy weather without sweating. Only time will tell. Slim athletic frame, 6ft, chest 40-42, waist 32-33, arm length 34-35. If you are around the same range with very muscular chest and arms, you might have to go with large.

I'm actually still surprised to get this quality for this price!
It fits perfectly well and the material is also of excellent quality. apparently quite warm as well!

I would advice you go for it if you are thinking it...No regrets await

After carefully reading the other reviews and questions to figure out what size would work best for me (6 ft tall male, 215 lbs, fairly solid build with a larger chest), I ended up ordering the US XL/Asia XXXL, and I'm very happy to say it fits perfectly! The sleeves are maybe just a slight bit long, but nothing I couldn't get fixed easily. The body fits just right through the shoulders, chest, and waist, and I love the length. When buttoned over just a t-shirt, I have a little bit of room between my body and the coat, which is great because it will fit over bulkier clothes without being too tight. The coat itself isn't bulky, but is surprisingly warm, and the quality seems excellent. I'm hoping this coat lasts me a long time, because it is exceptionally nice, especially for such a reasonable price!
