This program allows you to easily and clearly record sound that you can hear being played on your computer, at least on an iMac. Can't speak for a PC but don't see why it wouldn't work fine on that type of computer. The origin of the sound doesn't matter. If you hear it you can record it and save it as a high quality audio file.

I have been using this software for about 3 months. The playback is first rate. I now have 4 of the NCH software programs, including Switch Plus, Wave Pad and Express Zip. I believe these programs are a very good value for the cost. BTW, I never heard of NCH until I decided to try Switch during the free trial.
