First time trying this and I'm glad I did. The reviews sounded good so I expected it to work at least as well as the non-prescription creams you get at the pharmacy. I got it for the skin on my arms which has been so dry for several months. It has made a big difference in just the two weeks I've been using it. I even tried it on my face and surprisingly, I like it better than my expensive face moisturizer. My skin feels so much more moist and no rashes or itching from the cream. I'll reorder more of this since it is working so well for me.

My daughter has horrific eczema and this winter's flare up leaves her crying about taking a bath. This wash was so gentle, she asked to use it twice in the bath. Her flare-up is at its worst the day after a bath and she didn't have that happen this time. One reviewer noted the "rancid" smell; I am quite sensitive to scent and did not notice a strong or unpleasant odor with this wash.
I did need to use a leave-in conditioner cream after using this on my child's hair, but she isn't a baby. I really only bought this for the purpose of having something gentle on her skin.

Love CeraVe products. They're recommended by my pediatrician friend as being super gentle on baby. I love this moisturizing cream for use both on children and adults. It goes on smoothly, absorbs quickly, and has a lovely scent. Good basic moisturizer, I would recommend a stronger cream for babies who have issues with eczema. But this is a good front line defense to keep baby skin (and yours) silky soft.
