There are not many choices in the hardcase for bassoon department. That being said, it is a strong, sturdy and easy to carry case. However, twice one of the rubberized feet has ripped off. The first time, we sent the case back to Bam (they paid shipping both ways) and they fixed it. Shortly after that, a different foot ripped off and we were able to find it. Rather than go through the process, we super glued the foot together and reattached it. I feel for the price that this shouldn't happen.
