The size hat received matched the measured diameter of my head - slightly loose but fits as expected. Having worn it for a while now it feels comfortable and "just right". I wouldn't have been disappointed if it were built with heavier material but that's just me. Everyone appears to like the style and the way it looks on the top of my head, ...now if I could only do something about my face.
