Doe's what it's supposed to do!

Ordered 1 from Amazon and bought another one from Fry's (Fry's is cheaper by a couple of bucks!) after the one I had went out.
It fired my Night Owl system right up with no problems
One thing I noticed after running for awhile is that this one runs a lot cooler than the previous one I had which concerned me a lot.
The reason for the extra one is that these things seem to have a short life when run 24/7 and I figured I might as well keep an extra one "when" the one in use goes out.
I gave it a five because it's doing what I paid for it to do and hope it lasts longer than the other brands.

9 lead power splitter missing

What I received was not the product described. My package (B00WMJE31M) had the power brick, power brick A/C cord, an 8 lead power splitter & 4 lead power splitter (see attached picture). A 9 lead power splitter was not included as described in the ad. I wIll return in hopes of receiving the proper one.

This woks great with my C-841-PIR-3MP Night Owl system purchased at Costco. Saves outlet space on my breaker bar. DVR and 6 cameras hooked up currently. Will install additional 2 cameras soon.

was having issue with cameras disconnecting and then very low visibility at night. this power supply fixed my issues camera aren't disconnecting anymore and the IR leds light for the camera at night now.

This power source replacement is 100 times better than the original power sources that came with the system. I was having all kinds of issues from low infrared camera lighting to camera recording issues weird fan sounds no recording, wifi access and bad to no picture and this one little fix remedied it all. I thought I had to buy a whole new system. This is what should have come with my system. Glad I bought it.
