Good picture quality, great reception. The battery lasts about four hours
I bought two of these and both worked well. Not sure how it gets the bad reviews

I bought two of these Milanix 8 inch LED TVs about a week apart from each other. They perform nearly identically with one having an almost imperceptible yellow tint but again it is very hard to tell the difference. I fully charged both and rant them for almost exactly 2 hours before they went blank. There is no warning it just goes blank and cuts off. But I was pleased with battery life on both.
As far as the picture, for this size TV and this price point it is exception in my opinion. Obviously, some stations broadcast at different resolutions and image quality so I picked station with the highest quality color broadcasts and to be honest I'm very happy with the image quality. The colors are rich and the clarity is very good and sharp. No complaints.
The included antenna that has a 6 foot wire to it works well but not as good as a coax cable and antenna I bought from Walmart. With the included antenna I can scan and get 65 channels. With the Walmart cable and antenna I can get 75 channels.
I'm really surprised there are so many bad reviews when both I received work very well. I am a little concerned about how long they will last since there are some reviews that complain of early failures. Only time will tell on that.
The remotes I received seem standard size of about 5 inched tall and 2 inches wide. Not sure what others are talking about with their miniature remotes. The remotes both work perfectly.
I have only one complaint and that has to do with the stand. You see, there is a small built in Leg for it to stand upright on instead of using the screw on bigger base stand. I think many people confuse that with a 2nd antenna. It is not an antenna and so people that mistake it for one are probably those complaining it received no signal. You must connect the antenna with the 6 foot cord to it to receive stations.
Anyway, that leg has a protrusion that sticks out about a quarter of an inch from the housing and that protrusion is directly in the way of the bigger included screw on base. I am totally surprised I don't see more mention of this in other reviews so maybe I have a newer model I don't know. I've included a photo of this. I wonder if I'm doing something wrong. I don't see any other way to attach the large stand. But I can live with this. I may eliminate the little leg stand and shave off that nub.
Other than that I'm impressed and would buy it again if it lasts at least 24 months. I'll post an update later if it fails early.

Nice Compact TV Desk Accessory

This little unit sits on my home office desk where I can see it and my computer screen. I purchased it to replace a defective unit that included a DVD player which this unit is missing. It is versatile supporting off-the-air antenna, AV connections to my cable TV box, HDMI from my DVD player, FM radio, and AV media on USB jump drives. I will it had a digital clock display. My main problem is with the on/off switch and the remote control. The on/off switch is on the side hard to reach and not on top of the unit where all the other controls are located. The I/R coding of the supplied remote control is something special that none of the I/R learning remotes seem able to learn or emulate.

Great portable TV with a few minor flaws
Mannix✓ Verified Purchase•August 20, 2023
This is a great portable TV with a few small quibbles. First, the picture quality is outstanding, and the audio is plenty strong enough even with its small built-in speakers, and the sound quality is crisp and clear.
As to the flaws: The power adapter cord is so short, I have to run off only the battery for viewing, and the TV is not in the best position for viewing when I need to charge the battery.
Also, you cannot leave the TV in the "standby mode", that is just turning off the TV with the remote control. The built-in lithium battery will drain in just a few days, so in order to prevent this, be sure to turn the TV off at the switch which is located on the left side of the unit where all the plug-ins for the external devices are placed.
Lastly, this one is the most bizarre. I have put batteries in the remote control three times, and they are drained completely after several days to a week's time. There does not appear to be any buttons on the remote that are sticking, so I'm not sure what is happening here. I've never experienced any remote control ever having done this. So, for that reason, the remote control gets the lowest possible rating.
However, don't let this stop you from buying this great little TV. It does a fantastic job for when you want to see/hear the news or watch sports when you are away from a bigger screen!
