Poor quality, shabby workmanship.

Very disappointed with the quality of this product. One drawer has a large nick in the top, all the front plates on drawers are crooked. It is also unfinished, more work. I had one similar to this, bought at a local store, much nicer. This is not worth the money.

It looks like the photo, except that the drawers are not flush! They all stick out about 1/16th to 1/8th of an inch. The wood is not very smooth, but not splintery. My biggest complaint is that the top drawer has black marker writing on the top edge. I am surprised they would send it like that.

I'm SO happy with my purchase! My desk surface is clear & organized & more stylish with the addition of this organizer. The rustic look & drawer configuration is perfect because the botton drawer holds full sheets of paper and the small drawer holds a box of standard size envelopes among other things all the while looking great. It's solid wood but nice and lightweight because of the wood type. It had no noticeable odor until I stuck my nose right up to it then I smelled wood only, no fumes of any kind. One of my favorite purchases.
